Experience the magic of Savista

More Than a Stay
-A Connection.

As a guest at Savista, our 12 acre property is yours to explore.  After your day in Jaipur, let us show you a different side of Rajasthan.  If there is any aspect of Rajasthan that strikes your imagination that we do not yet offer, we are happy to build custom trips and programs around your stay. We offer a variety of engaging activities, including relaxing yoga sessions, creative workshops, a delightful camel cart ride and flavorful food cooking classes.

The Art of Rajasthani Craft

Engage with tradition and create something beautiful with your own hands.

Hand Block Printing

Savista offers its guests the unique experience of learning textile hand block printing as taught by the traditional artisans of Bagru who have been practicing their craft in this location for at least 350 years, ever since they migrated here due to an environmental disaster in their previous location (the history of the craft itself goes back several thousands of years to the Indus Valley Civilisation).

The Potter's Wheel

Journeys into the Countryside

Explore the serene landscapes and timeless rhythms of rural Rajasthan.

The Camel Cart Trundle

Your camel cart will trundle through hamlets and farms. Everywhere, people will be eager to meet you. Since village folk rarely venture out beyond family and kin into the wide world, they see Savista’s overseas guests as bringing the world to them.

Guided Cross-Country Hikes

River bed / ravine hikes and biking along the Sujalam river bed as well as village walks, are among the special outdoor activity options at Savista. The Sujalam is a now-dry river that once used to flow alongside the Savista estate.

A Taste of Savista

Celebrate food that is pure, nourishing, and deeply connected to the land.

The Hibiscus Court: Farm-to-Table Dining

Whether one is an enthusiastic practitioner or an eager-to-learn entrant, the peace and stillness at Savista offers an excellent environment in which to hone one’s yoga practice.

Ayurvedic Cooking Lessons

This can be done as a two hour cooking class or as one day experience. In a cooking class, participants typically learn to cook a selection of dishes.
