The village in which Savista is located has a large number of school-going children spread over half a dozen schools.

Savista facilitates interactions of its guests with children studying in two of these schools. One is government-run (catering to children whose parents cannot afford to send them to fee charging private schools), and the other is a modest private school.

The interaction could be in any form, based on the specific interest/skill of a guest who might like to ignite the imagination of children in the age group of 11 to 16 years. It has been our experience that activities that can most easily overcome language barriers – English language skills are very weak in the region – are best. Hence, amateur or professional interest/skill in sport, gymnastics, martial arts, music, art, craft can form a relatively easier basis for interaction.

If, through Savista’s existence – where guests arrive from all over the world – in their midst, some of the children in this obscure village could feel their curiosity and imagination kindled, it might be a rewarding experience all around.

When informed prior to their arrival, Savista could arrange for interested guests to have an hour’s – or more – dedicated time at the school.
