A Guide to Jaipur Literature Festival 2026 Registration and Passes

The Jaipur Literature Festival which will be held from January 15-19, 2026, is probably unique in its ‘democratic’ or inclusive model. Until recently, entry was free for everyone. Now there is a very nominal charge; and an even lower one for schoolchildren. This makes it an extraordinary space where Nobel laureates, established, new and aspiring writers, onlookers and schoolchildren can all come together, connected by curiosity and an interest in if not love for literature.
