Craft Your Own Bangle Step by Step: Guided Process
With the guidance of experienced hereditary craftspersons, you will take the following five process steps in making your very own lac bangle:
- Melting the lac
- Pressing it onto the selected mould
- Adding the desired colors (called “ rang chaapna”)
- Shaping the bangle and sizing it for your wrist
- Adding the decorations ( rhinestones, beads, mirrors, gold/silver braids)
All process steps are an expression of precision, rhythm, and tradition.
